Enterprise spaces
Give your company its own branded version of Vato, with its own sign-in, automatic rules, managed settings and per-user billing.
An enterprise space turns Vato into your company's app. Your users see your product name, logo and color, sign in with your company's identity provider, get the features you allow, and you pay for the people who actually use it.
You set everything up yourself on vatoide.com/enterprise.html. No build and no support ticket are needed.
What a space contains
| Part | What it does | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Application | Product name, short name, logo, accent color, help and legal links | Branding and sign-in |
| Sign-in | Vato accounts, your company SSO (OIDC), or your own platform | Single sign-on |
| Members and seats | Who can use the app and who manages the space | Members, rules and settings |
| Automatic rules | Account creation, automatic seats, default team, group mappings, inactivity | Members, rules and settings |
| App settings | Features, agent providers and models your users get | Members, rules and settings |
| Integration | API keys for your own platform | Platform API |
| Billing | Subscription, active users of the month, invoice estimate | Create and activate a space |
How your users get the app
- The shared app (default). Your users install Vato from the download page. Once they sign in through your space, the app takes your name, logo, color and settings, and keeps them on the next launch. Nothing to build or publish.
- A dedicated build (on request). Your own installer, icon, app name and update channel, like Neoo IDE. The Vato team generates it from the same configuration. Contact Vato support.
What you pay for
You pay per active user: a person who holds a seat in your space and signed in to the app at least once during the calendar month. A seat that nobody uses that month costs nothing. Internal seats (demo, support), set by Vato, are not billed.
Life of a space
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Pending | The space was just created. You can configure everything, but seats have no effect yet: your users keep their usual Vato status. |
| Active | Paid (or activated by the Vato team). Seats give access to the app, and active users are counted. |
| Suspended | Payment failed or the subscription ended. Seat holders are blocked in the app until the payment is settled. |
Security in one paragraph
Single sign-on only creates or links an account when the email address belongs to a domain you proved you own with a DNS record. Outside your verified domains, a person only gets a seat by accepting an invitation sent to their address. Your provider's client secret is encrypted and never shown again. See Single sign-on for details.
