# Devices

> See which computers, phones, browsers and Connect hosts are signed in to your Vato account, and sign them out.

Every place where you sign in to Vato gets its own session: each computer running Vato Desktop, each phone, each web browser and each machine running Vato Connect. You can review these sessions and sign out the ones you no longer use.

## See your devices

1. Open your profile page on the website. From Vato Desktop, go to **Settings → Profile** and click **Manage on web**.
2. Scroll to **Connected devices**.

Each row shows a device and the date it was **Created**. The device you are using is marked **This device** and is listed first.

| Label | What it is |
| --- | --- |
| A browser and system, such as *Chrome · macOS* | A web browser signed in on the website. |
| **Vato IDE / mobile** | Vato Desktop, the mobile app or a Vato Connect host. |

> [!NOTE]
> Vato Desktop, the mobile app and Vato Connect all use the same **Vato IDE / mobile** label. Use the **Created** date to tell them apart: it matches the day you signed in on that device.

## Sign out a device

- Click **Revoke** next to a device to sign it out.
- Click **Sign out other devices** to sign out everything except the device you are using.

When there is nothing else to sign out, the list says **No other active sessions.**

A revoked device must sign in again before it can use Vato:

- Vato Desktop shows **Login required**.
- The mobile app goes back to its sign-in screen.
- A Vato Connect host needs `vato-connect login` again.

> If you see a device you don't recognize, revoke it and contact [support@vatoide.com](mailto:support@vatoide.com).

## Devices that receive notifications

Notification devices are a separate list. Removing a device from notifications does not sign it out.

### From Vato Desktop

1. Go to **Settings → Notifications**.
2. Under **Registered devices**, you see your phones and PCs. This computer is marked **this PC**.
3. Use **Add this PC** or **Remove this PC** for the current computer, or the remove button on any other row.

Vato Desktop registers the computer automatically when you sign in.

### From the mobile app

1. Go to **Settings → Push notifications**.
2. Tap **Add this phone** or **Remove this phone** for the current phone.
3. Tap **Remove** next to any other registered phone or PC.

## Computers your phone can reach

The mobile app lists the computers that are online with your account. If a computer is missing, see [Mobile shows the desktop offline](../troubleshooting/mobile-desktop-offline.md).
